Description: Ascent from Roccoli L'Orla
Introduction:
Mount Legnone is the last true bastion to the west of the Orobic chain, separated from Lake Como by the satellite Mount Legnoncino. Imposing despite its not so lofty altitude, it dominates the Colico plain, located at the foot of its steep walls 2400 m lower. Its form most cherished by all enthusiasts is the one perceived from the south, where it appears as a mighty pyramid with a slightly truncated summit. The ascent to its peak, of hiking difficulty, offers a splendid panorama embracing the entire Alpine arc.
