From the square in front of the Forestry Barracks, take trail no. 991 which, with some ups and downs, leads to the Col dei S’Cios location (1340 m) with the namesake huts and to Col dei S'cios (1,342 m a.s.l.). From there, via a dirt road to Rifugio Maset (1274 m). Col dei S'cios (1,342 m a.s.l.) is a mountain of the Venetian Prealps in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region (Province of Pordenone) in the municipality of Polcenigo. The mountain is located on the Cansiglio plateau. The name of this mountain means snail hill, as s'cios in the local dialect is the name for this animal. Col dei S'cios is east of Pizzoc and west of Polcenigo. A road reaches the hut of Col dei S'cios, an alpine pasture near the summit.
