The “Sentiero di Gioele”, recently inaugurated on July 4th of this year, dedicated to the memory of Dutto Gioele, a young passionate mountaineer who passed away a few years ago, swept away by an avalanche during the descent along the North face of Monviso, winds along a wild and particularly evocative route in the Upper Maira Valley, over a distance of about 11 km and an ascent of nearly 1100 meters.
