They are not lying when they say that the Eastern Sierra is COVERED in heaps and heaps of snow! Which makes it the perfect time for some snowshoe adventuring. Mammoth Lakes Basin offers miles of essentially untouched winter hiking trails for those who love to snowshoe in solitude, and so we headed out to see how many of the magical Mammoth Lakes we could hike and snowshoe to in a single day. As you will see, we were ecstatic when we realized that we arrived just as the Mammoth Twin Falls was opening up for the first time since winter began, and few things come close to witnessing the birth of a spring waterfall. The Sierra never disappoints :)
