Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world. It is located in the central-western part of Nepal. The long mountain ridges and valley glaciers offer possible accesses from all directions and culminate in a summit that towers steeply above the surrounding landscape. The name Manaslu means 'mountain of the spirit'.
