Beautiful winter hike through the Fanes - Sennes and Braies Nature Park, involving Ucia Fodara Vedla and Ucia de Senes. From Malga Ra Stua (Dolomiti d'Ampezzo - Dolomiti Bellunesi) on trail no. 9 to ascend along Alta Via no. 1 and enter the Dolomites of Fanes - Sennes and Braies (South Tyrol). From Ucia Fodara Vedla (1966m - closed in winter) through its huts and those fantastic hay barns. Alta Via no. 1 continues on a wide and well-trodden carrozzabile crossing Plan de Lasta, where the view of Croda Rossa dominates the horizon. Arriving at Ucia de Senes (2116m - open in winter) and closing this fantastic loop descending along Val Salata and returning to the Dolomiti d'Ampezzo. Malga Ra Stua completes this extraordinary day of mine.
