Description: 06-08-2017: From Passo Giau, take the evident trail 436 southeast, pass Forcella di Zonia and a subsequent small col where a nice wooden sign indicates the detour for the "alpine trail of Monte Cernera", a surely excessive label given the commitment. More or less flat with slight slope, cross under the north slope of our mountain, heading west and overcoming a first equipped section with about ten meters of steel cable. The next equipped section is completely useless and indeed the trail is to its left. Continuing on grassy slope, arrive not far from Forcella Ciazza, under a wet rocky band equipped with a steel cable. Beyond this last obstacle, just walk to the cross of the main summit at 2664 meters. Toward Santa Fosca, the south summit is clearly visible, about ten meters lower, connected to the main one by an airy ridge that would require great attention and exposed climbing steps.
