We start from road SP26 walking a short stretch of Via Mercatorum leading to Dossena, arriving at Costa Villa we take the panoramic trail 599A crossing a beech forest and a hunters' roccolo, we skirt a cascina passing on a grassy slope from where the panorama on mounts Menna, Arera and Grem begins to be seen. We reach a mining area where we cross the trail rising from Lavaggio and where we find a pool. We continue on the well-marked trail climbing gradually until reaching the grassy ridge where the summit is. We return crossing grassy meadows first and a dirt road shortly after leading to Lavaggio and Dossena.
