Hike in the Dolomites offering spectacular panoramas. We start from Passo Pordoi and follow trail 601 which for the first stretch climbs gradually to Rifugio Fredarola, we continue on the comfortable trail that cuts the grassy slope admiring the splendid panorama towards the queen of the Dolomites, Marmolada. After a little more than an hour we reach Rifugio Viel dal Pan, we continue enjoying the panorama on Marmolada and Lago Fedaia and reach Porta Vescovo, the highest point of the hike and from where you admire the views on Gruppo del Sella, Piz Boè and Arabba. We return to Passo Pordoi completing the loop descending on trail 680. The Viel del Pan trail (bread trail) was once traveled by caravans transporting goods from the nearby Val di Fassa.
