Description:
On Tuesday we left work early and went to Mrežnica. We parked at the bridge in Zvečaj and headed upstream. Mrežnica has barriers every kilometer or two, waterfalls over which kayaks need to be carried a few meters. It's easiest on the left side of the falls when looking upstream. Because of these barriers, Mrežnica is completely calm and you can paddle upstream without issues. We passed a swan nest with lots of eggs that I couldn't film because the swans were very aggressive. We measured the water temperature, 16 degrees. Lucija wanted to try her new wetsuit but the sun was already setting.
