Description:
Nógrád Castle is Hungary's oldest irregular-plan, internal-tower stone castle. It is the namesake castle of Nógrád village, nestled in the interior of the Börzsöny, embraced in a semicircle by the Ipoly River, crowning a large plateau rising sixty meters above the surrounding area.
