Description: The Ollantaytambo temple is an architectural complex located at 2792 masl with an age of 3500 years. It is believed that its construction was oriented towards the city of Cusco, as its architects sought to defend themselves from the Incas. They also chose this area due to the underground water channels discovered at great depth. The Ollantaytambo builders designed an aqueduct system that is still fully operational today. Each fountain was carved in rock with its own characteristics and designs. The most well-known and considered the most beautiful is the Ñusta Fountain, made from a single stone and decorated in the form of a portal.
