Wednesday, November 8, 2017 – The snow - fallen overnight at low altitudes – also made this excursion to Paisco opportune. Planned to celebrate two 'November' birthdays, it unexpectedly draped itself in white and damp autumn colors. However, this was made possible by using the 'Bait di Caterina'. We thank the kind owner for this. While the 'volunteer cooks' (Valentino, Carla and Giordano) stayed to oversee the kitchen, the other ten lucky ones (exempt from chores) reached the 'Plasso del Sale' at 1600 meters with alpine huts. Along the way, many 'auspicious signs' in favor of the birthday girls (Antonietta and Rosamaria), adding to those of the Sempreverdi: a salamander, rufa ants, bradi horses, a lamb with its mother... All this materialized at the bait with a rustic lunch based on friendship and a very good 'polenta taragna'... it couldn't be otherwise in Paisco Loveno!
