Description:
Ascent to this emblematic Sobrarbe mountain via the normal route starting near the San Victorian monastery. The path is well marked with cairns. After a while, leave the left detour to Faja del Toro (red paintings on the rock) and continue climbing to the area known as Os Plans (large cairn). Further on, option to continue up to the ridges between Tuca and Peña Montañesa itself (more demanding and difficult itinerary) or descend a few meters to proceed on a more comfortable path diagonally along the flanks of the Peña. Only the final steeper pitch on rocky terrain (scree) remains.
