Description: Pilsko is a peak located in the Slovak (Orava) Beskids and Polish Żywiec Beskids with an elevation of 1557 m a.s.l. By height, it is the second highest peak of the Orava Beskids after Babia Góra. Pilsko is situated on the Polish-Slovak border, which runs 400 m below the summit, thus the summit is on the Slovak side. On Slovak territory, it is part of CHKO Horná Orava, and on the Polish side, the Pilsko Nature Reserve. Like many peaks on the Polish-Slovak border, Pilsko marks the boundary between watersheds. Streams from the north belong to the Baltic Sea basin, while those from the south belong to the Black Sea basin.
