Description:
Winter ascent from Albosaggia.
From Sondrio reach Albosaggia and at a junction continue to the Centro hamlet. From here the asphalt road climbs long and with numerous switchbacks, leave on the left a characteristic stone church with concrete bell tower and continue almost to its end, near the highest baite of Campelli. Exactly when the road makes the last right switchback, leave it and take a cemented path that branches off to the left, right on the switchback. This path climbs steeply and narrowly for a few hundred meters and then curves sharply right. Here, on the left, a dirt road with a barrier usually always open branches off. Anyway, we continue right and skip the dirt road, with very uneven surface, that we will meet later. The cemented path climbs another hundred meters, passes behind the highest house of Campelli and becomes flat and dirt. Twenty meters further on you can park in some spots on the sides of the road.
