Reach Canzo and follow signs to Sormano. Continue to Pian del Tivano and then reach Colma di Sormano. Follow the dirt road (signs) that climbs through woods and meadows to Colma del Bosco, 1250 m. From here you can continue following the road or, more scenic, climb to the modest summit of Monte Ponciv, 1453 m. From here follow the entire easy and panoramic ridge which, after passing the equally modest summit of Cima del Costone, 1616 m, reaches the summit of Monte San Primo. For the return you can comfortably follow the small road
