Description:
Seespitz is an exceptionally rewarding viewpoint. It can best be reached mountaineering-wise from Gleinkersee via the 'Michael Kniewasser Steig' or via the very steep 'Jagersteig' marked only with cairns. Going to Seespitz via Kniewassersteig is worth it a second time besides the summit splendor view, because on this path you get an idea of the force of the storms. You see thousands of trees lying cross and cross. Due to the inaccessibility of the area with extraction equipment, the wood remains unused.
