Description:
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous and visited waterfalls in Iceland. It lies on the Seljalandsá River, which flows from beneath the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. It is 60 meters high, which is not exceptional compared to other waterfalls on the island. It is popular mainly because it falls from an overhang into a small pool. In the lower part of the cliff, visitors can walk behind the waterfall on a slippery path constantly sprayed by water mist.
