Description:
Through the Schaftobel we ascend along the south ridge interspersed with steep slabs to Guggernell (2743m). Not even a proper cairn crowns this summit; a hint that the ascent on foot is not entirely easy. From here, the rugged Guggernellgrat leads over to the summit of Schafläger (2809m), which has recently received a proper summit cross.
