Description: This spring hike took me from the monastery town of Rehna first to the Benziner Tannen, then along a narrow path by the Radegast stream until it reached wide meadow landscapes. Upon arriving in the village of Benzin, the return path above the stream led me to a hill with a 10m high cross that commemorates the fallen of the First World War. The iron cross was erected on a concrete foundation and round grove in 1935. It offers wide views of the countryside, although the hedge of the grove is gradually obstructing the view.
