„The Mountain Calls“ shows the diversity of mountains and tells of the eternal fascination that these imposing worlds in barren heights and thin air exert on us humans. The exhibition lets its visitors participate in the legendary first ascents of the Earth's most famous peaks, reports on great triumphs and dramatic defeats. And it tells of the millennia-old reverence with which people approach the mountains; for they have always been places of religious worship, refuge and contemplation in seclusion, full of myths and secrets.
