17/6/17 Third time on the Tracciolino and it's always beautiful. There and back then up to Frasnedo and after a break at Rif Frasnedo we descended to the Moledana dam and closed the loop. 
The Tracciolino Trail is one of the most spectacular human engineering works in Valchiavenna. We're talking about a 10-kilometer track running at a constant elevation of 920 meters between Val dei Ratti and Val Codera, built in the 1930s as a connection between two small dams, one in Val Codera (little more than a concrete wall) and one in Val dei Ratti (a bit larger). Of these 10 long kilometers, not all are equally interesting and fascinating: while the stretch between Val Codera and Val dei Ratti features tunnels and spectacular rock-carved passages, the section between San Giorgio and Codera is incredibly monotonous (avoid it if possible!!
