Description: 14/5/17 Valle Vertova is a small valley located in the homonymous municipality and is considered one of the most evocative and naturally significant places in the entire province of Bergamo. It is drivable by car only in the first stretch to the Rosèt location near the Ristoro del GAV (Gruppo Alpino Vertovese) where there is the last available parking. From this point onward, one can proceed only on foot via trails and mule tracks that allow itineraries on the surrounding mountains. The main trail, following the canyon carved by the Vertova stream, is of great geological, naturalistic, and landscape interest: waterfalls and cascades, streams, gorges and "giants' potholes" shaped by the force of water, sheer walls, but also gentle green slopes. The hiking trail is easy, suitable also for the less experienced.
