Twin Lakes from Mezzeno (Roncobello BG) Valbrembana

Description:
From Roncobello village drive up to the Capovalle hamlet and continue to the end of the road at the Mezzeno huts, where you park (1600 m). Start gaining elevation on the left slope of the valley (right orographic) along the trail to the aqueduct intakes. Exit the sparse woods at about 1800 m and on the left leave trail 217 that goes up to Tre Pizzi. Crossing the pastures reach the Foppe hut (1933 m) and the Croce hut. The trail then climbs decisively to gain the steep slope leading to Passo di Mezzeno (2142 m). From the pass enjoy excellent view of the Twin Lakes. Continue downhill to reach trail 216 coming from Rifugio Alpe Corte to the lake shore which is skirted to Rifugio dei Laghi.
