Description:
The attraction of Őrség and Hegyhátszentjakab is Lake Vadása. In the Vadása valley, using the water of the Vadása stream, the construction of Lake Vadása began in 1968. The name comes from the fact that many foxes lived in the area, digging holes along the stream, so the stream was named vad-ásta, dug by foxes, i.e., Vadása. Its clear water is fed by 12 springs.
