Description: This enchanting body of water is located at the end of the Vallone degli Albergh, in the easternmost part of the Maritime Alps National Park. Situated at the foot of Monte Frisson, it is very frequented in summer. In the video in backlight, the pyramidal silhouette of Frisson and Monte Ciamoussè to the left is noticeable. Continuing, we notice the Passo della Mena and the east wall of Cima della Ghilielma. Under the clouds hides Bric dell'Omo and lower down Monte La Croce. A portion of the plain brings us to the view of Cuneo and in the distance the mountains of Valle d'Aosta. Finally, Cresta Lausea is seen ending with Monte Ciotto del Mieu. Clear weather with some passing clouds, autumn temperature with gusts of icy wind. Climbed from Palanfrè.
