Description:
The vertical of the K42 Anaga Marathon is a route that runs along the mythical climb taking us from La Punta to Cruz del Carmen, passing through the famous village of Chinamada. The route is quite demanding due to the rugged terrain and the length of the trail. The race itself only consists of the uphill section, but in this case, I took advantage to do a high climb (uphill) and a down hill (downhill). If the uphill is already tremendously demanding, the downhill is even worse... there's everything. A very runnable part, a flat part, and the cherry on top, the final part. Warning to those starting out or who don't know the area well, be careful. A stumble here could cause serious injuries, not to mention worse. Be very careful!!
