Via Ferrata Fusetti/Dolomites | Sass de Stria (Hexenstein)

Mia and I start our autumn holidays in the Dolomites with the first tour to Sass de Stria (Hexenstein), just 2 weeks ago I was up here and wanted to save the via ferrata to do it with Mia, well here we are now, we first had to search a bit to find the entrance, but thanks to the compass app on the phone we found it and started into the supposedly easy beginner via ferrata rated B/C. Both of us really like it but agree that a real beginner might have something to do here! Upon arrival at the top, the weather changes and it starts drizzling and gets noticeably worse, so we look for shelter for our well-deserved cake break, we found it quickly, unfortunately it was quite drafty there and so we change once more and find a nice spot with a view before we tackle the summit. At the summit we met nice people and talked longer before we descend shortly before sunset. To experience it a bit more, we sit briefly at the wooden crosses again and enjoy this natural spectacle. Then the last meters down to the car where we are already looking forward to dinner. The Hexenstein is always an insanely beautiful tour with great panorama and we have already spotted tomorrow's goal from above - it's off to Monte Averau...
