The tour starts via Hernlersteig, 150m below Gmunderhütte you can branch off to the demanding Traunsee via ferrata. Due to its D difficulty rating, it counts among the sport via ferratas. The difficulty is consistently C to D over all 150m, and should not be underestimated especially because of the long approach.
