1. Chalet Rasciesa is a mountain restaurant above the town of St. Ulrich - Ortisei above the Val Gardena valley. A funicular Raschötz (Rasciesa) also runs from the mentioned town to the restaurant. The camera is located at the upper station of the aforementioned funicular at 2095 meters altitude. The restaurant is popular mainly among hikers visiting the surrounding peaks in the Puez Odle nature park. The image shows numerous peaks above the Val Gardena valley, especially the Sassolungo mountain group.
