Description of mountain:
Javornik is with a forest covered peak, which is situated southeast from Črni Vrh. And on the top in the year 1972 they have built a lookout tower, which reaches above treetops so that from the top a nice view opens up. In good weather we can see Dolomites, Carnic and Julian Alps, Karawanks, Kamnik Savinja Alps and Snežnik. And between the mentioned peaks we see Škofjeloško and Cerkljansko hribovje, part of Ljubljana basin, hills of Notranjska and part of Gulf of Trieste.
The ascent on the tower in wet is dangerous for slipping and on our own responsibility.
