Description:
Woolly Androsace (Adrosace villosa) belongs to the primrose family, flowers from June to July, grows 2 to 5 cm tall. This cute little flower with small white flowers that often have a yellow or red ring in the center, usually grows in association with Pyrenean rockjasmine and stemless silene - often we just overlook it. Flowers up to 1 cm wide, petals notched at the top. Leaves almost in spherical rosettes almost glabrous. Both stem and underside of leaves densely and long-haired. Loves dry, rocky, limestone habitats. Grows from 1300 to 3000 m
