you overtook again and in between solved the solution offered by miri, now there's already a new one. Rekar, I apologize if I offended anyone, I meant to joke with a famous saying of some dictator, otherwise I support the locals. What do Stesovnik and Štibovnik mean? So, not to complicate too much, the solution to the riddle 3 pics back is: In the background Tegoška gora and its second peak Pungrat, in the middle Stegovnik (or. Stesovnik or. Štibovnik ?), the viewpoint is on Kozji vrh.

...a few more words from another local about the aforementioned Štegovnik... Štégovnik (1692m) is the only correct name and not Stegovnik. This about spreading the name Stegovnik is again an unforgivable sin of our cartographers, where Stanko Klinar writes (partial quote from Planinski vestnik, year 1992, issue 4): ...They copied »Stegovnik« from the Germans too (they cleaned it a bit, but only in the second part, because Germans initially wrote »Stegounk« and similar), which an ignorant Slovene pronounces approximately like that. (He often errs only in stress.) But the local pronunciation is /stegounk/, which the written form should be »Stegovnik«. That Germans didn't write a circumflex on »S« for initial /št-/ is understandable by their orthography. But it's not understandable that now Slovenes because of our cartographers fall into traps of written pronunciation, which, sadly, happens even to locals, no matter how eager they are to preserve local authenticity. (The latest attempt shows they are ready to switch to /stegovnik/ - perhaps out of subservience, which I wouldn't attribute to Gorenjci, or leaning towards urban finesse, but in the same breath uncompromisingly defend the parallel /štibovnik/, which wasn't accepted in writing.)... So, please - Štegovnik (and not Stegovnik, even less some Stesovnik). It would be nice and right if the trip description to Štegovnik is also renamed correctly by the administrator. Thanks.

In order? What if we brotherly united them all? Both peaks are the highest anyway. One in the Western Julijcih, one in Jesenice municipality...
