I'm asking because on dad's photos from 20 years ago the Grossglockner ridge was still snowy or partially snow, partially rock - like on your picture, otiv, or even more snow. Is it now completely normal all bare in mid-summer, given glacier melting?

The picture is old, from my young years. Snow is there or not, all depends on weather conditions and of course visit time. Biggest problem is number of hikers, especially in good weather. Madness
