Yeah Broad Peak-still pretty good. Camera excellent, everything else very average. At least that's my opinion. Pure ad for Viki Grošelj-horrible ego...shame, because if there wasn't so much Grošelj in it, it would be much better.

I think that without a bit bigger ego up there above 8000m it doesn't go, and even with it not always. And not for anyone, only for few. Otherwise, everything I've heard about Mr. Grošelj, read of his, listened or seen, has always stood on quite 'solid ground'. This little film is watchable and I liked it overall, I admit I'm a complete layman in this area, but at the same time very easily satisfied, if not enthusiastic, when it comes to mountain themes ... So, I still dare to praise, but criticism of the author and product I rather leave to those who know about it and use solid arguments!

Yes, it's true that Viki Grošelj has something to say and thank God he also has the will to share it with us many times, so we can at least imagine a bit how it looks up there high above; all honor to him, for me he is MOUNTAIN KING. I wish him many more such hikes, and us appropriate film records..., as often as possible!! - especially now, when our dear RTV has deprived us of the only monthly show about mountains by Marjeta Svetel - even though we are supposedly a nation that loves hiking hills!! As for our alpinists who conquered our mountains and routes in walls and Europe and so on to the Himalayas, we can only say hats off. I think the dreams of many of us are high mountains, if not at least once experience height over 8000m - at least mine is. When I read books by Grošelj, Kunaver, Humar, you admire their ability, when you meet the guy, when you can even talk to him, when the person is really willing to share those feelings with you, it's almost like you were there. I hope the young ones will appreciate it, and that we'll follow in their footsteps!

I know Viki personally and he's a big egoist, that's why I wrote earlier that the documentary would be much better if there wasn't half the film about Grošelj. Unfortunately the guy has no measure and in such matters it's always him and only him in the foreground, then the others. I just hope he won't expose himself so much in the next shows and hope he reads this, let him think a bit about himself. Whether he does this for the nation or for himself and his sponsors....
