No, we thought the spouses had a bad day. The lady wasn't worth even replying to good day and goodbye. We also had to ask quite some time for service, though there weren't many guests.
We stop here often, but first time we ran into unwelcomeness (visible). Maybe the spouses really have a crisis????

Also, when we were at Blejska hut they were very unfriendly, had some family quarrel about garbage and kid, then threw the garbage under the wood. Some hikers observed this and ignored us completely at serving. Anja mrk pogled

Hi

Tomorrow I'd like to take the kids to Blejska Hut.
Forecasts are so different that I somehow can't decide.
Does anyone have experience or is from the area and can tell more reliably?

Tomorrow, in 24 hours, 95% of the sky around the hut on lipanci will be covered with clouds and 0.03-0.58 mm rain per hour will fall. So it won't be the most pleasant. You can call the hut keeper at 051 621 021 and he will advise you first-hand.

Even professionals hardly predict anything reliable, so how could we. I often go by the morning sky view, sometimes webcams help, sometimes you need a backup target, sometimes you just go and with a bit of luck the day can be really nice and interesting.

Around Bovec in the afternoon there is the most chance for rain, elsewhere better weather, KSA should be surrounded by sun all day except a bit of cloudiness possible but no precipitation.
Looking at three models, one ours, two foreign most reliable.
In the morning check the webcams a bit.

Ah ljubitelj, you won't be a weatherman. In the morning in KSA rain fell merrily. It stopped only around noon. Of course it's doable even when wet, which we two did too.

It's been a long time since anyone wrote anything or added pictures about the Blejska Hut on Lipanci. This is the only hut of the Blejsko Mountaineering Society.

Today on this rainy day, when even all the flowers were crying, from Studenec at Poljuki to Planina Lipanca to the Blejska Hut. It's a beautiful meadow below Debelo Peč. You can start even from the main road at Studenec at the start of Pokljuka on the right side - it'll take more than two hours walking. From there by car to the barrier. My son and I left the car at the first left turnoff on the path to Lipanca - from there it's about one hour. From the barrier it's only half an hour. The path is very flat and runs through the forest. It only climbs a bit just before the meadow. The hut on Lipanci is open every day all year round, at least that's what the friendly caretaker assured us. It's a nice excursion spot for the whole family. From here lots of options to nearby peaks - Brdo 2000m, Debela Peč 2008m, Lipanski Vrh 1968m.

On the right side along the forest road we see under the road this nice pasture. Above it there seems to be an abandoned mountain hut. Mountain paths here seem to just pass by.

Here on the right is the junction for Planina Lipanco - one hour walk.

There is also a pleasant resting area with tables and benches.

The panel informs us that iron ore was mined here already in the Middle Ages.

Below the pasture we walk for some time on a good gravel path or shortcuts, as the pasture is right ahead.

In the hut it is really pleasant - outside today at ten it was only six degrees, ten days ago there was still 30 cm of snow.

From here there are really countless possibilities for mountain tours. Today it really rained almost the whole morning. Next time from here, where higher.

Since I'm heading to Blejska Hut tomorrow; does anyone maybe know if the path from Sport Hotel past Planina Zajavornik to Blejska Hut on Lipanci is trodden.

The road to the monument is cleared. Further on, today there were only "tracks" from ski tourers. But the snow is mostly blown away; right under the hut the caretaker made a nice foot track.

Today I caught the sun on Pokljuka. I decided to go to the Blejska Hut on Planina Lipanci. In between I walked lengthwise and crosswise across Planina Kranjska Dolina, which is currently wonderful - I even surprised a wild duck in a puddle. I started at Studenec and headed to Medvedova Konta or Garages. There's a barrier on the forest road due to timber extraction, so we have to walk 4 km on gravel to reach Medvedova Konta. Then just half an hour more and we're at the meadow. There's still plenty of snow in the forest. The meadow itself has none, only under the hut it's drifted - they even shoveled it off the path. Plenty of visitors at the hut. I even went towards Lipanski Vrh, but gave up below the summit because there was a lot of snow in the valley below. No track, sinking over the knees, so I turned back. Still, I tasted real winter again.

First stop at the Kranjska dolina pasture.

For the first time I stopped here and really breathed in this greenery.

Here are interesting old huts. Almost every pasture has its own architecture.

I head towards Medvedova konta, there was a barrier here. They warn us that a bear is even present here.

This logging hurts a bit - they say they'll clean it all up.

There are four km of gravel to walk, here the sign says another two.

Medvedova konta or Garaže - from here another half hour to Blejska koča on Lipanca pasture.

There's no snow at the hut, but on the path below the hut they're even removing it - June 1st.

People have been mining around here already before our era.

No livestock yet, in summer the mountain dairy is also open.

I head to Lipanski vrh, at this point I didn't know I wouldn't reach the top.

Lipanski vrh - on that snow patch on the clearing under the mountain my path ended.

Simply too much pristine south-facing snow that sank over the knees.

She missed only the photo from Srednja vas in Bohinj - snow-covered peaks - winter.

True winter idyll, "tamal" continues learning skiing at the ski slope by Sport Hotel, I have four hours to explore the surroundings. Today I chose Lipanska Planina. The path took me from Sport Hotel to the main road and then across Planina Zajavorniki (somewhere I saw Planina Javorniki). Path no problem, dry snow-powder, no ice. Quite a few visitors, 1/3 walkers - 2/3 tourers. Regards Matic

Whenever I want to post something on hribi.net, that dentist who is still looking for a guy in the ad banner convinces me to rather talk to her, yeah, but today it was quite windy on Pokljuka.

I fell in love with my dentist, how do I tell her now.....
