Brložen
When I spotted it years ago from the top of Krvavica it stuck in my memory (unfortunately no photos of Brložen from Krvavica). The sharpened western ridge and sheer walls on the W side attracted me.
The summit ridge then runs east. On the NE side there's steep deciduous forest. If looking from S side (Loka village) it's such an indistinct peak/ridge you don't notice it beside the prominent rocky tip - Krvavica.

Parked by Konjščica stream (+3°C). Here runs a marked path to Zajčeva hut below Krvavica. Followed the marked path approx. 1 km, then right to W ridge. Sought animal trails (quite steep), which took me to W ridge. Reached the ridge very high, approx. 150 m below summit. Ridge quite difficult - crumbly.
Alpinist describes: Found route on Plezanje.net. Runs along still quite loaded ridge. Proper climbing for good 3 pitches, rest more walking and scrambling short sections. Probably climbed entry a bit our way, didn't find V-. Plenty of options for climbing crumbly and loaded sections where difficulty could be much higher, but didn't appeal.
Last part where I crawled not difficult. Ridge below me thoughzavijanje z očmi
Follows nice walk east to summit 851m asl, descent to marked where I left below. Approx. 2:30 min back at car +17°C.
Interesting: stopped in Tabor at colleague who with husband hikes lots of these local hills, they didn't even know Brložen which they see daily from yard.

Brložen part II
Brložen excited me for further exploration. Morning parked (+2.5°C) at parking by Suhi stream. Stream flows very lively and plenty water in bed. Don't know why Dry?
Instead of marked to Krvavica, went back on road. Found Tesen stream and descended to Tesen ravine. Left slopes of Brložen right Krvavica. Can't miss now. Path along stream well done and ascend without issues. Enjoymentcool
When out of ravine head under south wall Brložen. Last time ascended to ridge on north side. Here steep forest to ridge. South steep crumbly vertical walls. Now wonder if somewhat "normally" across this wall? Often lured by ledges chamois use. Always ends not daring further and barely climb back safe. Crumbly with sixty percent red.
Finally find ledgevelik nasmehvelik nasmeh on which "hands in pockets" climb to ridge without trouble. Overjoyed persisted and searched. Reach ridge higher than last time. Follows walk on grassy ridge to top (cca.70m ascent)cool
From here all clear and in twenty minutes to Zajčeva hut. Drink beer and dash to top Krvavica. Then descent to parked car. In cca.40 minutes at start. In stream (+9°C) wash dust off shoes and home. Whole trail in 4 hours.
Nice trip!!!

Such beautiful posts finally got me out of winter hibernation and indoor gymnastics. I saw Brložen last year from the path through the gorge below Krvavica. Today from Loka similar to user Zlatko to the first suitable spot, then ascent to the overgrown clearing and along it to the west on trails to the ridge of thousand trunks. Along it a bit higher to the westernmost ridge, which I caught at a nice viewpoint. Then after one hour at the summit. I descended the south slope, then to pl. Dom na Vrhe and along the ridge to Kisovec. Followed descent and ascent over pathless hummocks towards Čemšeniška planina, where solitude really took me, due to traces of many animals I was already watching where to freeze if some furry one nearby. I returned over vast clearings to Krvavica, through Tesen stream gorge, then forest lane and pathless to the spot where in the morning I turned from marked. Here muscles and lungs were already striking, but in the end smarter than the owner and gave in. After good four hours at the car I realized beautiful impressions for such short time almost too many. Regards, Andrej

Geppo, today I looked at Kozica, that could be
quite a tough nut, structurally similar to
Brložen but larger, SW wall drops to Zaplanina
at least 100m height, at start compact

Šmarni ridge/Kozica (cico)
I viewed it from afar, haven't been closer yet. Sometime, probably this too will come for closer inspection.
About Brložen I'll say this:
First approached the ridge from the north side. The ridge is quite loaded, crumbly and it wasn't pleasant to climb on it. Luck that I got fairly high on it. Upper part then transitions to grassy base and there are no more difficulties.
This part of the ridge, in my opinion, is almost unvisited. Usually they ascend the east walking side to the highest summit and then return the same way back. To the rock fot.4 (andi2) probably they don't go.
That bothered me and I wanted to find a passage down over S wall, so not to return back. Or, to climb over S wall to the ridge and then continue on it.
This fairly easy passage was enabled to me by the shelf that I found in the wall. The shelf is smoothed by numerous four-legged hikers who use it diligently. This passage in the wall does not exceed grade I. I had quite some trouble before I found this passage. Otherwise my climbing abilities reach a bit over II grade. More, I don't seekvelik nasmeh
I didn't mark the passage with cairns or other signs, let it remain for chamois and some rare lover of hidden paths...cool

So nicely made, executed...1

Brložen part III
After this mainly interested in waterfalls of Tesen stream.
Morning barely 3.5C when parking by Suh potok.
Along muddy lane hurrying to Tesen stream. Already from afar hear merry murmur, gurgling. First stop at Red waterfall, Ponvice, Pahljače, Zavesa etc - such names I gavevelik nasmeh
On the left starts rocky ridge of Brložna. Despite all soaked pulls me from gorge ravine into steepness. Interests me Red gully (I named it so). Gully direct to ridge. Most prominent gully in Brložen wall. Steep, scree, red greasy soil. Strenuous ascent! End closes in rocky chute. Shoe soles dirty from soil hard climbing in chute. When reach ridge fingers numb from cold rock. Otherwise climbing no more than II.
Still some ridge ahead not difficult anymore. Rock here dry shoes cleaned of greasy soil. Advancing with pleasurecool
Then descend to gully with nicest shelf. Some trouble as smooth shelf wet slippery. Now only descent to Tesen ravine and return to start.
Noticed many climbing routes capable of climbing. Still draws me herecool
Tesen stream after this rain wonderful. Path section that wasn't last time someone improved so ascent suitable also for less fit. Path nicely followable just look a bit...

Today with Milan we tackle the entire ridge.
A few meters higher than the Tesen stream, we dig into the ridge's rocks. The ridge is rich with steps, holds. Every stone, rock, we check before loading. Still a fairly big stone surprises me and flies lower from under my feet.
We don't face any special difficulties. We climb unroped all the time. But we use the rope to do abseils into the gullies. We have it with us and not in the trunk like usually.cool So it has to be used.
I like a bit of training, every abseil I repeat velik nasmeh. Milan regularly uses abseils in his ventures, he doesn't need to now. We descend the wonderful ledge and explore the wall from below. Beautiful, wild, secluded, I'd list more..!!!
on the way back we stop at the home inn, treat ourselves to a tasty holiday meal Happy holidays !!

In the late afternoon from Konjščica stream shortly along the marked path and then looking for passages to the Tesen stream gorge. But success just before the stream sent me left up the slope. The SW ridge is steep, you puff, but undemanding. On the western ridge I sat at a nice viewpoint. Then climbed some rocky outcrops to the top and pleasant shade. Haven't done the promenade yet, so in the evening I descended leisurely back.

next time go even further to the beginning of the ridge that descends to Tesen. The ridge isn't hard and you can still move into the forest if it seems too demanding.

OK, for Brložen I decided upon inspiration a bit before 19hnasmeh so I went preferably by the variant described above. Both ridges are, as you say, practically next to each other, so I chose when to go west. But now with all the greenery up there it's gorgeous, full of blueberries.

Yesterday first time to Tesen and over Brložen. Since it's been a while since last on Krvavica, I happily jumped up there too and descended through the window to the car.

The path through Tesen is beautiful and picturesque. At the spot where Brložen ridge drops to the stream I headed pathless left into steep, partly rocky slope, hoping to nicely enter the ridge. Geppo sent me a photo of the stone marker where left starts the climbing on the ridge and luckily found it first try. Nice climbing in the lower part quickly steals sense of time, enjoying. Sun warms me and strong westerlies cool at the same time. No time for thorough exploration, next time. Varied ridge path brings me to lonely summit from which I descend a bit too far eastwards, but not too much. Turn pathless right along south slope and at Zabrložnik step on marked to Zajčeva hut and on to Krvavica. Hut was closed. On Krvavica nice and very windy. Followed demanding descent from top, as ground in upper part greasy and slippery due to moisture and sticky black soil combo. Lower from window dry and friendly ground.

Will return! Safe!
