And I finally really went...
"And the word became flesh". Yeah, kinda mischievously borrowed from the neighboring "spiritual" thread I could start this nice yesterday's tour. With dad we parked at Pecol, then headed over planina Larice and Krni dol to Sella Scalini, then soon left on 626 to Škrbina prednje Špranje. There it really started - helmets on, prayer to the Highest and pure enjoyment began. Of course, not without royal horned welcome already at the small scree at the entrance, then everything even nicer, not mentioning flawless fixed protections. Certainly I can confirm all superlatives this exceptionally picturesque path gets. No need to read Mašer again..., nor relive God's ledges beyond Koštrun's spires, to write that here at least "angelic" if not "heavenly" ledges, probably even more... Indescribable! Nice natural passages, just right fixed ropes, picturesque ledges, rocks of exceptional shapes, full of history, flowers, ibex on most posing spots, not speaking of the newly built handsome larch bivouac on top of Špik nad Nosom. Followed just right spiced descent to Škrbina nad Tratico, short walk to "highway" on ŠHP (no, this time no direct descent from Tratica to Pecol), then just leisurely descending reliving seen and felt to planina Pecol. It was quite visited for Wednesday, surely also result of (Italian) holidays.
In short, tour to shout about, especially in such nice weather! Thanks, Ceria Merlone.
I know I might be too flowery and advertising too much, but here crowds surely won't rush like at nearby Špik Hude police. This path demands whole mountaineer, soul and body. And above all lots of time to at least approximately internalize all seen.mežikanjenasmeh
More on photos coming tonight...mežikanje
Because compromises also make life beautiful, with Pecola we start walking only at half past eight.1
View from Krn dol towards the Kanin group.2
Yes, it was already quite hot for us towards the Scalini saddle.3
A very interesting saddle awaits us with a cross, stone remains of the war, and also a nice view towards Visoka Bela Špica, VKŠ.... Corsi hut...4
Then further along 626 to Škrbina prednje Špranje, much less snow remained than last October.5
And we were already at the official start of Ceria Merlone, in the rock niche (again) a divine sign.6
Horned welcome at the entrance.7
Yes, this is where we live at home.8
At least beautiful, if not even more...9
Already often photographed chain for help in overcoming the rocky jump.10
Precisely measured view towards Viška planina.11
Can it be even more beautiful? Perhaps, if the neighboring disturbed slope didn't spoil the view at least a little.12
Zoisova lepotica.13
Here I am the king!14
Here I am!15
View back, also Rombon and Krn in the background.16
Some time ago someone was angry about how poorly the Italians maintain their mountain paths... This, however, looks like such exemplary belay that we can remain speechless.17
Once more a look back at the traversed ledges.18
And also a view towards Viš, the mighty mountain, as our neighbors call it.19
A little more...20
Nature really plays beautifully with the rocky artworks.21
View towards Montaž.22
And a little closer - obviously well visited today too.23
On the top of Špika nad Nosom there is now also this charming shelter.24
I'm just a bit curious where you're rushing to...?25
Here I am the queen!26
At the end, a glance at a section of the traversed path...27
and grateful for the victory...28
also to the Highest!29
Perhaps soon again on this beauty.30

Boštjan MK, I'm interested: is this a difficult or very difficult route, is self-belaying necessary? Thanks for the answer.

Beautiful pictures, Bostjan. Locals explained to me that Jof Fuart in Friulian means strong mountain.

For me it's difficult (which can be very subjective), self-belaying recommended and possible, since there are quite a few cables, but above all infinitely beautiful. The only right thing is to forget time here...
Oh, Flora, you're right or we are, different sources write differently... but the meaning is quite similar. Anyway it's a great, beautiful,... mountain!mežikanjenasmeh

I predict that the bivouac will be named after Luca Vuerich.

Igor, did you perhaps know each other?

For all of us, a bit broader view, a reflection...:

Someone asks if it's difficult or very difficult route. According to classifications in our mountains and also compared to routes in our mountains, undoubtedly this route is far among the very difficult ones, as it's certainly more demanding than say Hanz's to Mala Mojstrovka. But it's really an extremely beautiful route, with exceptional views.

given that lately this route is talked about in superlatives, I also went to see it up close on Veliki šmaren and I have to say the route is pure poetry in every way

The bivouac is actually dedicated to the late Trbiž alpinist Luka Vuerich, his father had it built for him. The excellently artistically crafted bivouac is quite monumental and of solid dimensions, as it stands out from Montaž as well as from Neveja Pass (parking lot of the CAI 625 starting point) and is thus now the highest-lying object in the entire Julian Alps, so Kredarica is no longer on the "throne".
