Primož, because this is direct spitting in the bowl of the entire healthcare, all those striving for higher vaccination rate. Because it gives anti-vaxxers new wind in sails and new arguments why not to vaccinate, which someone who doesn't understand well easily accepts. In short, with this the government (or whoever issued the order) proves again that it's the worst (albeit covert) anti-vaxxer in the country.

As for the delta, that's not quite accurate! At least for those of us vaccinated with Johnson. I heard on the radio here that it protects against delta by as much as 85% and for at least 8 months. 
Otherwise, discos opened here yesterday, and 68% of Austrians think that testing children over six years old, which they plan to introduce, is unnecessary or even harassing.

Because just before leaving, something unpleasant happened to me, so to not spoil the start of my vacation too much, I thought of life as one long via ferrata: sometimes easy, sometimes hard.
When I climb an easy via ferrata, up to max. B, I'm not satisfied, I look for harder ones, yesterday's gave me adrenaline and I was more than satisfied.
But in life it's the opposite: we complain when there are problems and avoid them. But they are needed for progress, on this long, long via ferrata of our life!

Sharing a doctor's note who knows very well what he's talking about. Using rapid antigen tests is throwing money out the window!!! On the other hand, many of us in healthcare work in unlivable conditions because there's no money for equipment, proper spaces.... "Rapid antigen tests in general testing have been professionally meaningless for MONTHS, not to say harmful. Financially, it's the biggest waste of money so far. Data for 29.6. (source: NIJZ): number of active cases in the country is 628 - prevalence is thus (628/2,100,000)= 0.03% positive predictive value of the test (with 95% sens. and 99% spec.) is thus 1.4%! That means 98.6% are false positives! Pre-test probability that a person on the street is negative is thus 99.97%! With a negative test we raise that probability to 99.999999%. Really useful.... The problem is mainly financial logic: To find 1 infected person, we need to do 3333 tests (if you price at 15€, that's 49,995€), additionally send 33 false positives to PCR (if PCR is 60€ = 1980€) To find one infected person, you spend 51,975€. If I put it more simply...to find 20 people with this measure, for that money you can buy one MRI machine, or practically energy renovate any health center, or procure about 20 ambulances...etc, etc... This amount doesn't include costs of leaving work, waiting for test results for all risky contacts at work... Data a few months ago weren't much better...and no one listens..."I

Ha, Austrians are inventive unlike ours: in Vienna they organize vaccination parties to attract people. People come, get vaccinated, then also eat something, drink, chat and socialize.
I do agree that quarantine for vaccinated is nonsense. Switzerland, where I'm going now, has free entry for all vaccinated, even from red areas, even from areas of spreading variants (Brazil, India).

Interesting to me that in July 2021 in some simple way without own calculations it's still not possible to get official data for crude death rate for 2020 by individual countries. They had announced that data would be published in June, when that date came, everything was delayed by a month etc.... The whole world is interested in exact official data, but they don't publish them for so long or delay. And crude death rate is such a simple number, almost no simpler. They just add up deaths and divide by population.
So the question arises, maybe it was found that globally no unexpected increase in mortality was detected and now covid mafia is pressuring those institutions, data is being fudged..... all so that covid profiteers can keep us on a leash again and this corona madness never ends.
Can you imagine if after publishing the numbers it turned out what a scam it is? Covid mafia would be target of lynching, asset seizure etc... Let's not forget what influential lobbies are involved here.
And someone will say again....conspiracy theories.... of course, just like for 70 years all UFO witnesses were labeled crazy and conspiracy theorists, officials were threatened with liquidation if they revealed info. And what do we have after 70 years? Official admission - US army report that from 2004 to now they observed (and filmed, documented) 144 UFO cases, of which only one during investigations was explained as earthly origin. 143 cases remain unexplained.
