Today I got mad at myself again because no crampons in backpack needed for ascent on Slovenian path to Ledine. Went there with husband. Few meters snow before climbing part no issues. Protections good. Just before climbing exit turned back because gully fully snowed no winter gear unsafe... ...

Pics beautiful, real pity no hut on Ledine in them. Yeah Meta, forgot in such cases just lil jump and there - forgot Podrta gora? Right to turn back but even better with crampons!

Nice day lured us to Czech Hut today. Path fully unproblematic, dry and well maintained. For those who don't know: Sunday 8.5.2011 above Czech Hut on Zg. Ravne Andrej Karničar Memorial giant slalom. Hut open this weekend, all weekends to mid June then permanent. Info from caretaker who opened today.

Great Igor for your mountain paths. After visits to various mountain areas one gets the feeling that the mountains really walk with you in the heart. Nice tour above Jezersko even with three stages.

Apart from scree in Žrelo, path without special features. Snow ten days ago at bottom of scree field only sample left.

Hi, today we were at the Czech hut and on Ledine (through the gorge). The path is nice, well secured, but watch out for stones that others can dislodge. Snow is touchable on the scree before the gorge.

So much already written about "kits", then see that cops who should check "proper equipment" whistle past it. Maybe this so sung "kit" not so necessary in all cases?

Ever seen alpinists, mountain guides, hiking guides and others without "clients" "roping" with kit??

The self-belay kit is not a safety harness that would be mandatory, but recommended, I didn't take any side with that, but there's a big EGO problem with disregarding rules in all areas...
