I'm wondering if anyone knows what the path from Rudno polje to Blejska koča na Lipanci is like.

If the question refers to the footpath, there isn't one at the moment and it's usually not walked from Rudno polje in winter.
If it refers to the road from Mrzli studenec to the monument, consider the following warning from GG Bled: http://www.gore-ljudje.net/informacije/88649/

Mid-October trip to peaks above Blejska koča is becoming traditional, reason is abundant larches starting to get glowing yellow. And one of the nicest paths for me is from Blejska koča to Debeli vrh over Mrežce, I prefer the lower path, views are fantastic. Path is suitable also for families with kids..nasmeh

We walked the path yesterday in reverse order as in the title.
What can I say - Nicenasmeh Larches are turning golden nasmeh, above the peaks all morning clear and cloudy weather was mixed, in the morning we walked alone zavijanje z očmi, upon return there was already quite a crowd at Debela peč.

It had drawn me to Pokljuka for a long time, but I reached it only on Saturday, 22.8.2015, thanks to public transport. Since last year, a tourist bus runs from Bled and from Bohinjska Bistrica during the summer school holidays. Unfortunately only on Saturdays and Sundays.
Shortly after five I took the train to Bohinjska Bistrica, where I had to wait another 45 minutes for the bus to Pokljuka. At 8.30 I arrived at Rudno polje. Too late for longer hikes, especially in the hottest summer days. This time there was already a hint of autumn in the air, no humidity and annoying insects, ideal for walking. Despite the forecasted morning clarity, there were quite a few clouds around the peaks; the highest only peeked out from under its cap at noon.

From Rudno polje I went past Blejska koča na Lipanci to Debela Peč. I returned via Brda, Lipanski vrh and Mrežce. It tempted me further to Debel vrh and Viševnik. Since I didn't know how much time I would need for that part, I rather went to Blejska koča and along the already known path to Rudno polje. From there by bus to Bled and on the train.

The path to Blejska koča na Lipanci is well marked, except under the Viševnik lift, where the mark is only somewhat higher by the road at the junction for Triglav and it can be missed if you take the path along the lift. Further, all junctions are signposted for Lipanca, from the gravel pit the path is marked. Only at the junction just above the hut, where the path to Viševnik and Mrežce branches off, I missed a sign. The forest path didn't thrill me at first, but upon seeing the rest it wasn't so bad. Mainly due to solitude, as I met only one Hungarian couple on the return. Most who drive to Pokljuka by car choose closer accesses to Blejska koča.
Further to Debela Peč is busier, on the return via Brda, Lipanski vrh and Mrežce I met only a handful of hikers (excluding those already at the peaks themselves). The nicest part of the path to me was over Brda, the workout from Lipanski vrh to Mrežce I would easily skip. Well-fixed cables ease the ridge crossing (descent from Lipanski vrh maybe less strenuous for those with long legs), the peaks were less interesting to me due to similar views than Debela Peč and Brda. Good side of this path is that it is less visited. Maybe better in reverse direction.

Walking time with short photo stops: Rudno polje-Debela Peč: 3.20, Debela Peč-Brda-Lipanski vrh-Mrežce: 2.00, Mrežce-Bl.Koča-Rudno polje: 2.25, total 7 hours and 45 min, with longer stops 8 hours and 45 minutes. This time I dawdled less than usual and approached the markings on the mountain signs.

More in the descriptions under the photographs.

Today we walked along the peaks above Lipanca. The path above Blejska koča continues towards Viševnik, later we leave it and climb through the bushes to Vrh Razora. We continue along the scenic ridge towards Mrežce and further across Lipanski vrh and Lipanska vrata to Brda. Descent past the hut to the starting point at Medvedova konta follows. Nice late autumn weather, abnormally warm, beautiful views as always, although the larches have already shed their golden coat.

Today on New Year's Eve but in the sun to two Pokljuka two-thousanders - Debela peč and Brdo. Never been to Brdo before. From Mrzli Studenec we go along icy forest road to park at Na Rupe and in good 40 min we are at planina Lipanca. In between some icy sections. Better put on microspikes for safety. Possible without too. Then to Debela peč. This path icy in places too. Summit of Debela peč snow-free. Logbook almost brand new - praiseworthy. Here we soak up wonderful views all around. Then down. Since gorgeous day we go for second two-thousander - Brdo. Never been there before. Triglav like on palm. Lipanski vrh nearby. Left it for next time.

We did the loop above Lipanca (Brda, Lipanski vrh and Mrežce) early enough to catch the views. Luckily, such nice ones are not found around every corner. After 10, the highest Julians were in fog. We started at Medvedova konta, where a decent road leads; I pitied the car here and there on some sections. There is quite a few km of gravel. I would start lower myself, but the youth likes higher starts nasmeh. Car to car, less than 4 hours of leisurely walking minus stops at Blejska koča. Pure delight!

In reverse order as in the title.
Path in good condition, larches turning yellow, wind a bit annoying.
To Debela peč I met only a group of hikers, on return to Lipanci more lively.
Probably best time for hikers to visit mountains here...nasmeh

I also hiked this beautiful path on Saturday in reverse direction. From monument past Blejska to Mrežce, then to Lipanski vrh, Brda and to Debela peč. Most time sun hid behind clouds so walking even more pleasant. Regards
