Even if there are no opening discounts, the prices are still ridiculously low

In the first post I trashed the store. However, I bought cotton sweatpants bottoms from them and then two organic cotton t-shirts. Price and quality wise they are super.

Yes, sports Hofer. Of course we all go to Hofer, those who pretend never just don't admit it...

Anyone have experience with their "in-house" Quechua backpacks? Looking at 30L with back mesh, seem comfy, but what about water-repellent materials? No rain cover - that'd seem more "secure" to me.

No experience, but think rain cover bought separately. Personally more worried about back panel than waterproofing, cheap packs usually unpadded, few kg and it sags, carry on shoulders. Suggest go to store, load with climbing rope, test on your back - backpack buying like shoes, back length must fit, sit well for comfort and hip weight transfer, else regret.

I was quickly in the store today, they really have covers for extra purchase. Backpacks feel solid for that money by touch. Tomorrow I'll fill them with something to see how they perform when loaded. Thanks for the advice.
