On Saturday, 24.9.2011, in the morning hours somewhere on the path between Planina Blato and Planina pri Jezeru we lost a Panasonic Lumix camera. It's in a black case.
The camera has priceless value due to irreplaceable photos on it, so it would mean the most to us to get the memory card back.
Honest finder, if reading this please call 040/17 14 10 or send the card to our address (Klemenčič, Ulica bratov Učakar 10, LJ).

Yesterday afternoon, just before 6 pm, a visibly tired and confused dog was seen on the parking lot at Planina Blato. It was wandering from the parking lot back along the road about 100 m and then back again, and lying on the road. We cut the bottom off a water bottle and gave it water; the container was a bit small, but it still drank some.
In my layman's opinion (not a breed expert), it was a border collie, black-and-white, long-haired, medium-sized. Wearing a red backpack. Couldn't get too close as it backed away.
Hope no one brought it there and abandoned it (it was chasing departing cars). Probably lost. If you know someone missing it, please let them know where it was spotted.

Hello,
on Sunday 8.1.2012 during a wonderful hike from Kamniška Bistrica to Grintovec I lost new Sony Ericsson Xperia Active GSM.
As it's waterproof, it will probably survive in the snow. Presumably near Cojzova koča.
Would be very grateful if honest finder returns it.

(I have lost my mobile somewhere on the way from Vodnikov to Pri Lesi (via Debli vhr). If you somehow get to know that somebody has found silver Nokia, please let me know. Julian Alps are great, for sure we will be back there some day.

Yesterday, 13.8., I found a red Garmont sneaker with sock at the entrance to Kranjska poča (NŠG). If someone misses it, they can get it at Tičarca.

the day before yesterday I forgot the alpine transverzala booklet at the top of Debele peči. I ask the finder to please send it to me by mail to the address written in the booklet or to the mountaineering club, or leave it at Blejska koča. Please add a phone number so we can arrange reimbursement of postage costs.

I called Blejska koča this morning and the caretaker said he'll ask passing hikers to look around and bring it to the hut if found, maybe someone put it in the box. I'll call the caretaker tonight to check. If you're really going, I'd appreciate it, I've stamped the "last station" from the Julian Alps. Thanks in advance.

Graceful girls, fortunately there are more and more of us who care what environment we'll leave to our descendants.
Every time I visit the mountains, besides my own trash I always take down "lost" candy wrappers or a "lost" bottle.

I don't know what heart a person has to carelessly throw trash into nature instead of taking it to the valley and throwing it in the designated bins. There's a nice saying for such: "Where the donkey grazes, there he ... leaves".
If I can add something to this topic, though not directly about trash. Or is it. The picture shows a new signpost for easier navigation to Kalce and Kalška gora. Damn it, but there are still, nicely said, idiots who don't care about things that help hikers/mountaineers and the voluntary effort of PD members who maintain the paths. Next time let that idiot study that maybe some of his cents are in such a signpost and for God's sake leave it as it is. Shame on him!!!!

Really interesting, a full bottle of drink, which surely isn't light, someone can carry for an hour, two or even three, but when it's empty, can't carry it anymore, no matter how much space it takes in the backpack, especially if you crush it. A normal person, a nature lover and a lover of our beautiful mountains, really can't understand this. From such behavior to vandalism is a thin line. Truly sad.
