On Sunday on the S side of Krn it looked like this. Given conditions on the path I did (Krn ridge from Srednji vrh to Vršič) I'd say the S side is similar - powdered, rocks covered in ice or frozen snow, the traverse slippery for sure given temps and wind. Good luck.

I was interested mainly because of knees, as downhill running isn't very knee-friendly. After some longer run descent I sometimes felt my knees quite noticeably. At this age they are even more sensitive.
