Road to Restefond, also in France a bit SE is a bit higher, which leads to 2802m and is the highest paved road in Europe. Sierra Nevada-Valdeth, Spain is a bit higher, but poorly maintained road. Otherwise as pass still the highest previous from the riddle Col de l'Iseran.

Mountains there are so many, that we won't even see them with the naked eye during our stay, let alone visit their summits. Over the mentioned pass I only drove, the Mt. Cenis mountains massif spreads above the pass and is very extensive.

Yes I see you are all still cyclists, I also used to pedal on road bike, now doctors advise against it for me. All good things end once. Enjoy also on bike, as in mountains.
