Not Olševa, it's something below Olševa? What did we see then? Because I'm not asking for the peak, but what we saw along this path

No, one in the word: The interwar Italian name of the former Skalarjeva koča on Kanin is Rifugio Timeus. What is the interwar Italian name of Zavetišče pod Špičkom?

Rifugio Efrem Desimon perhaps.

...rifugio Efrem Desimon below Jalovec was reopened on August 6, 1950 with the name Zavetišče pod Špičkom. In 1981 it was demolished and a new shelter was built on the same site, opened two years later... (Michele Di Bartolomeo: Story of the Rapallo heritage, PV, 2018/7-8)

If we consider these newer Slovenian sources, OK, continue... My old Italian (original) source states differently - Rifugio de Simon...

The source is old, as it's from 1970. (Atlas De Agostini; no cableway, Skalarjeva koča is at the old location). But it's hard to believe the Italians didn't give it their chronologically last rifugio name there. De Simon is a factory from Osoppo in Friuli from 1925. Well, Desimon, De Simon, continue...

Sources need to be judged objectively sometimes Zavetišče pod Špičkom was built in 1933 by Triestine alpinists in memory of their comrade Efrem Desimon, who died fatally just a year earlier in the Western Julian Alps. The small wooden shelter bore the name Rifugio Efrem Desimon. Claims that the shelter originated as an artillery or anti-aircraft observation post are wrong, as the structure belonged to CAI Trieste.
