Blind hen... From which via ferrata is this picture? Hint: The mountain range starts with the letter K. Hint 2: The solution is just across the border, nearby is a place where many Slovenes go in winter too... Hint 3: the place has 3 names

No. Mountain range starts with K. The place under the via ferrata has three names.

Probably Košuta as the mountain range. Via ferrata leads to Košutnikov turn from Austrian side. Photo is somewhere above the suspension bridge. The place could be Sele. At first I thought it was Cjajnik.

Carnic Alps, Nassfeld? Don't know the mountain around there.

You're close already, Miri. On the other side of the pass/ski area with three names: Mokrine, Nassfeld, Pramollo, where many Slovenes go in winter too.

I'll be offline for a few days, so I reveal the solution: via ferrata goes to Torre Winkel (2044), bold rocky spire best seen from Winkel valley on Italian side of Mokrine pass. Torre Winkel is actually side spur of main ridge of Konjski špic 2239 (Rosskofel, Monte Cavallo di Pontebba) in Carnic Alps, 3 via ferratas routed to it and neighboring Clampil tower 2079. Let whoever wants set the next riddle. Greetings

atoamac, I've been to both towers twice from all three sides: I posted the description last year on 5.8 under this title: Torre Clampil - Via Ferrata dell'Amicizia - Winkel turn, but from the pictured detail I would never figure out where it is, so I think posting such details is pointless.

In the leaden times it was still operating.

Miri!!! Obviously the lead from the leaden times has weighed down your head. Leave politics aside, because it doesn't belong on this forum. Only mountaineering and climbing matters belong here.

Of course, julius. You're doing well.

@ IgorZlodej "atoamac, I've been to both towers twice from all three sides: I posted the description last year on 5.8 under this title: Torre Clampil - Via Ferrata dell'Amicizia - Winkel turn, but from the pictured detail I would never figure out where it is, so I think posting such details is pointless." Igor, don't be so gruff. Maybe not knowing the details just means you're not such a good mountain expert as most on this forum think you are.
