Peak on the first picture, I think, has no name; taken from Okroglež. Second shot is from Debele peč.

Mrki is of course completely right. First peak on the picture maybe only in special maps, not exactly sure. Path to Debele peč really goes left a bit below Okroglež summit and past this little peak we descend to some saddle and then steeply up to Debele peči summit. That was a nice last year's December day. Just continue!

I checked all the most famous Pokljuka pastures - Jelje, Konjsko dolino, Veliko raven, Belsko planino, Grajsko planino, Rečiško planino, Repečnikov rovt, Zajamnike, Kuk, Lipanco, Javornik, Pokljuško planino, planino Meja doline, Berjanco, Pekel, Uskovnico, planino Šeh and Praprotnico, but can't find this scene - unfortunately.

You cross this planina if you go from Gorjuš to Galetovec.

Then it can't be another pasture but Planina Za Jamo. I really haven't been there yet. But I intend to visit all Pokljuka pastures this year.

It's not Planina za jamo. I'm not sure about the real name myself. On the hut it says "Ivovc". Peter2 is an expert on Bohinj and Pokljuka pastures and perhaps he can clarify the question.

Then it can only be Belska planina. To Planina Za Jamo and to Belska planina you reach via mountain road from Gorjuše. But from Belska planina the path to Galetovec is much closer than from Planina Za Jamo.

I found a writing by expert of this area Janez Pikon who named this pasture Planina Ilo. Obviously according to the sign on the hut "Ivovc" that's the real name. Anyway this pasture is above Planina za Jamo (northwest) and southeast of Belska planina. From junction of road Gorjuše-Mrzli studenec it's ca 30 min on forest road and then path to pasture, then another 15 min to Galetovec.

I've already browsed his nice texts - I know. I currently have handbook by Tinet Mihelič JA Bohinj Mountains, where there's also tour to Galetovec and says you go past two huts, but doesn't name the pasture. Glad that I have one more on list of Pokljuka pastures that few know by name.

Mrki sorry, I haven't followed this page regularly. Glad that Janez's descriptions already helped you to the solution.

Kranjska dolina under Galetovec?

Not under Galetovec, nor is it Soriška; it's on Pokljuka.
