Right, last year I went to both peaks - Dolkovo and Kukovo. I really went to Zadnji Dolek and across that Rjava škrbina. It was quite demanding to get across because it was a bit icy. This year I'll try going up via the western ridge. The route is well described in the guidebook JA Northern approaches and rated as very demanding pathless terrain-climbing to II grade. So both are right. Let one of you continue!

Here before the fixed cables it was completely icy.

Vrata - Osredek via Kranjska senožet. A few meters ahead from the place in the picture there's an iron cross in a rock cavity. Does anyone know anything about it?

Pastirica, you're right. This rocky section on the path from Ambrož to Planina Osredek is called Pokavše, at least that's what the sign at Ambrož says.

This is the sign above the farm tourism at the top of Ambrož.

Actually the whole path runs along the eastern slopes of the hill Pokovše or Kržišče. In recent years the initial part is routed lower because the passage through the first gully is destroyed due to landslide.
